Caveats

Some dockets will update here twice. That is because CourtListener and/or PACER have the case duplicated, and downloadable PDF's are scattered across both dockets. Maybe there will be a fix for it eventually.

ORDER as to AIDAN HARDING. As discussed on the record at the 5/4/2026 video status conference, Jury Selection and Trial are hereby set to begin on 10/19/2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 6C before Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan. The Court will issue a Pretrial Order setting forth specific dates for a pretrial conference and all pretrial deadlines. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the period prior to the start of trial, from May 4, 2026 to October 19, 2026, be deemed to be excluded under the Speedy Trial Act, 18 U.S.C. § 3161, et seq. Specifically, the Court finds that the ends of justice served by excluding this time outweigh the best interest of the public and the Defendant to a speedy trial, 18 U.S.C. § 3161(h)(7)(A), since the Court finds that the additional period is necessary to enable counsel to prepare for trial, taking into account the exercise of due diligence, 18 U.S.C. § 3161(h)(7)(B)(iv), especially in light of the appearance of new defense counsel. Signed by Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan on 5/4/2026. Text-only entry; no PDF document will issue. This text-only entry constitutes the Order of the Court or Notice on the matter.
